Sunday Funday

Hi guys! Happy Sunday, happy July & happy Independance Day (for those in the US). I hope you’re all having nice summer weekends! Yesterday I worked until 4 pm & then me and Elliott headed up to his coworkers house more north. It was a beautiful drive, & when we got there his house was this awesome historic farmhouse with a huge back yard complete with of course a pool, tiki bar, volleyball court, horseshoes, a fire, and fireworks display. We arrived just in time for food to be served (yes!) and downpour of rain (gah). The food was SO good! So many pasta salads & fruit & smoked chicken, sausage, hotdogs, burgers. Just a good ole cookout.

We also played volleyball and thankfully found out I’m pretty good! The fireworks show they put on was also amazing! I guess every year they drive all the way to South Carolina for a vacation and then buy up all their fireworks to bring back to NY.

But can I just say how happy I am that it’s July?!?! I love a new month, and setting new goals, intentions, energy, ect. June just felt like a long, rainy, difficult month and I’m happy to see it go! July also means I only have 5 months left of school. I love my classmates, and am learning a lot, but 4 15 hour days each week is just so much. Plus I’m missing elliott like crazy because we get zero quality time when im at school. He works a 8-5 job and I’m at school 5-10! Anyways, I have a feeling July’s gonna be a good month!

How’s your weekend been so far?!?

Hi Miranda! How are you after all the festivities and now its back to the reality that is July 5th! We had a nice weekend, celebrated Dana’s birthday over 2 days then had a parade and fireworks yesterday. its good you got away from it all Saturday afternoon , sounds like an awesome place to go with lots of activities and good food! So you are a good volleyball player. That is so good for you to find out. Maybe you can join a league in your area. I hope the 5 months of school go by quickly for you. You certainly have long days and not enough couple time. I realized this is my 1 yr anniversary on wordpress. it has been so fun meeting a lot of new people. It is so nice to include you in that list Miranda. Have a great week , take care , hugs, Terri xoxo.
