Happy Sunday beautiful friends. I can’t believe it’s Sunday already. It’s been a busy weekend. Ok, maybe I lied, it’s been a mostly busy weekend. After training at a new job this week plus school I was SO tired Friday. So we just had takeout & were in bed by 9pm. Haha!
Saturday we were up early & did some cleaning. It rained all night so when we woke up it was super chilly & gloomy… perfect for a hot cup of coffee. Then we took a road trip down by NYC for an awesome fall night! It was a pretty easy hike, all uphill but an even path. At the top of the mountain was a super cool abandoned city left over from the civil war era. It had a hotel and a few buildings that you could walk through. It was superr foggy so there wasn’t a great view, even though this hike was supposed to be one of the best views in the catskills. The fog actually made for a very festive hike though, I loved it.
We got home around 5 & had a last minute invite to a local ocktober festival but we were SO tired & spent all of our money in town already. So we decided to have a fire with a friend and some music.
Today I made a huge breakfast bake of sausage, diced potato, onion, and pepper & some eggs. Of course with a hot coffee! Currently we’re watching Hallmark fall movies (my weakness) & soon we’ll head out to take the pups for a walk. We have a family dinner at 5. I think at some point I will convince Elliott to get out the fall decorations too!
Like I said busy weekend!! How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun.
